As with our wallets, the Slim Pack came out of an initial need of mine for a new backpack. I wondered why our devices had become smaller and lighter… but bags hadn’t kept up? A minimal backpack would be a huge endeavor so I didn’t design any other products for two years and focused my design efforts on the Slim Pack, producing over 100 prototypes in the process.
